Another in a growing line of pretentious James Franco disasters nobody will ever see.. The film is too sincere an expression of admiration for this poet's work to feel pretentious, but it's like a music video for the poems, often literal in its biographical readings.. There is just about enough narrative to hold interest, while the lyrical camerawork, constantly in motion, blurred images and all, offers a single emotion that is impossible to stretch over a feature-length film..
